So sayeth one Mississippi lawmaker named Bubba. For real.
Mississippi state Rep. Bubba Carpenter (R) said that it’s OK for women to have coat hanger abortions because it’s for a greater good.
Yep. You read that right. So what if some women die or are scarred for life. Serves the trollops right for getting knocked up all by themselves right?
If I didn't already have a migraine, this would give me one. Over the objet d'orange.
See, it's all about the moral values:
It’s going to be challenged, of course, in the Supreme Court and all — but literally, we stopped abortion in the state of Mississippi, legally, without having to– Roe vs. Wade. So we’ve done that. I was proud of it. The governor signed it into law. And of course, there you have the other side. They’re like, ‘Well, the poor pitiful women that can’t afford to go out of state are just going to start doing them at home with a coat hanger. That’s what we’ve learned over and over and over.’
But hey, you have to have moral values. You have to start somewhere, and that’s what we’ve decided to do. This became law and the governor signed it, and I think for one time, we were first in the nation in the state of Mississippi
Yee haw. We're number 1...in putting women in potentially deadly situations. Bubba's mom must be so proud. Ugh. She probably is.
There's even video:
For those who may not know, this is in response to a recent law signed by Mississippi's Governor that will likely result in the closure of Mississippi's only abortion clinic.
Pro-life my ass. Anyone who has any apathy about voting this election, please remember that the next POTUS is going to likely get a big bite at the SCOTUS apple, and worms like these Mississippi lawmakers are not the only ones slithering around.
